another MCM dresser in the works

2nd morning with no coffee, just a green tea to start the day.

the day started with a bit of sun peeking thru but soon was clouded over

Time to decide on color for the dresser I was working on before, but first it needed the areas I filled sanded, the entire thing scrubbed well and repairs made.

this is my inspiration piece and with such a similar styled dresser it is going to be awesome

I originally thought the cranberry but coral and azure kept creeping into my thoughts. Lets see where it ends when all dry and ready to paint.

While it dried I wrote up the blog for the duck blue dresser and sent to the paint company and posted on their page. I also started the post for this new dresser getting a bit of a head start.

Between loads of laundry I managed to update my furniture inventory page and tidy the garage in hopes of deciding what the next project will be. Nothing is totally jumping out so I moved on to sorting photos on the computer in hopes to make my transition easier when I get another new computer. It was a perfect day to be inside with the dreary gloom outside and high of only 14 BUT there was a pile of snow to the west so I will take 14 and overcast.

the whole dresser got a coat of ultra grip seeing the finish is so smooth, just to be sure, this now has to dry 12 hours

I had supper cooking but Sheldon messaged at 4 he would be late, then after 6 called to say some of the guys were having beers so off he went. I ate while watching the Voice then hit a hot soak in the tub with some Netflix. but the internet did not co-operate so it turned into PVR in bed finishing up as Sheldon got home before 11.
