family supper

I was up early and made coffee serving the Prince in bed later as he slept in. I worked on waxing Auntie's chair and doing a stencil painting on the wee coffee table waiting for my 10 am customer.

She arrived just before 11 and bought the green dresser and picked up a few more items for the Gleichen arena fundraiser as well as my donated rustic set. Thank you VERY much for your support of small local businesses.

The firewood fellow was right behind her, another 1/2 cord of lumber ready for winter.

Sheldon ran to town after lunch to get a load of wood for the arena kick wall for tomorrow's work bee. I brought in Auntie's chair and staged it. Really loving the color! Waxed the stencil top and put outdoor coat of varathane on the welcome sign.

Britt arrived home around 4 followed soon after by Grama, Papa and Auntie Candace. Shaina was not long after them, it was a fun night of delicious roast chicken with all the trimmings and the longest card game of Hearts ever (Shaina left as had other plans). It was won by Grama who pulled off a royal stuffing to us all on the final hand.
