happy cake day Dad

Thursday, count down is on. Time to do accounting and travel prep for me while Sheldon decided to change headlight and test drive Britt's car and found she was correct in claiming the brakes seemed off, nothing like trying to fix under pressure but I think that is how he likes to work :-) (not really, he HATES pressure hence why took this long to actually check the car) No light bulb on hand which he thought either added to the parts required list.

Britt was off to work a 9 hour shift today at the gym getting time and a half, that made her happy as it is a fairly relaxing job. The black board winner stopped to pick up as did the egg lady, Britt will not starve now!

Sheldon started work on Britt's car but it was a whole lot of swearing and sweating. Time to take a break and run to town, tan and enjoy a pedicure. Thanks Grama & Papa, I have pretty toes for my trip and Sheldon enjoyed his very first pedicure I got him for Xmas as well.

I picked up my new glasses which had been switched to the correct lens- a reading one now, dropped eggs at AJ's (who is now sick, poor girl XOXO) and dropped Britt a coffee and muffin to get her thru the long shift. It finally turned to my lucky roll up a rim even if just a coffee.

Today was a nice sunny day reaching a high of 10, people could even be found in shorts! not me, I prefer 20 ;) Today is also my Dad's 73rd birthday, CHEERS Dad, we toast a cold one or two to you!

While Sheldon continued to work on the car, I cooked up a new recipe, coconut curry chicken with jasmine rice for supper. I very much liked it. When Britt arrived home from her long shift she replied.. "Our house smells like that place!" Of course she meant the Indian restaurant we just tried, just not sure if positive comment or not.
