988 - busy day on the production line

Day 988 was an amazing day in the work shop. I was up soon after Britt was off to school and out in the shop. I have a few more custom orders so need to get moving. Today I snapped a few photos of the dresser once all back together, then I did repairs to TV console then started painting it. In the drying breaks I painted 6 frames, the mirror a coat of turquoise, sanded and put a coat of stain/poly on the 2 new end tables to start. Then a 2nd coat of color and wet distressing.

Shaina had another leisurely start but she did take Coco to town for a face trim just as Britt pulled in from school. She also took the recent auctions and mirror to town for pickup as well, Thanks Shaina. After the trim she is going to work at the gym until 8.

Britt is to be studying for finals so I threw a pizza in the oven. After eating she was back downstairs studying I hope and I went back out to put glaze on the mirror, wax the frames, paint a wash on the white one and put a 2nd coat on stain/poly on. This coat looks way better.

Once home from work, Rylan came out to watch movies with Shaina. I put away the tools at 9 after a very successful day, hoped to download photos but the battery died so went to have a hot bath! What a busy day for me!
