598 - my favorite things & winter formal

Day 598 I want to share my favorite things. I LOVE reading them on other blogs and since I follow many it is the best part of the year. For my favorite things I have categorized for you

Food:
1- Earth's  Own Almond Coconut milk (I went dairy free in July and this is by far my favorite find however it is not stocked in Strathmore in any stores but 1.. boo!!)
2- Brookside chocolates (I also went dairy free which meant dark chocolate only, but when we were in Texas in early 2010 I found these yummy treats {blueberry and pomegranate} and since then have enjoyed all the delicious flavors esp now I am dairy free for the most part!!)
3- a yummy Christmas treat.. butter fudge, homemade is best but this boughten kind is really good too

4- I have old stand by favorites including Hickory Sticks, Cheezies and red Twizzlers

Household:
5- micro flannel sheets- thee are amazing so comfy and warm!!
6- our Stearns and Foster king size Manhattan mattress - again, so comfy with the right firmness and softness combined

Beauty Products:
7- Morrocan Oil shampoo and conditioner - and of course oil and deep conditioner but these were a lovely surprise as they have no sulphates and parabens etc and it smells lovely

8- L'Occtane hand lotion - I saw it on another favorite list and ordered just to see, it is lovely, absorbs fast and feel so smooth, comes in many great smells
9- Mac Eye fluid eyeliner - Kaylin loves using this makeup and suggested it, it is very soft and fluid
10 - Bond No. 9 perfume - I had a tester of this from our trip to Cincinnati (sold at Saks) in 2011 and broke it soon after. I have the jagged piece of glass on my nightstand and it still smells so lovely. Someday I will have a small bottle. #1 favorite is Madison Square Park and #2 is High Line

Books:
11- the Mortal Instruments Series , Britt read this series years ago, now both Sheldon and I are enjoying them
12- Midwife of Venice - it has been many years since I could not put a book down and this was a refreshing revival. Amanda loaned me the book recommending it and she was so true.. great captivating  story!

Clothing:
13- Carreli jeans - I got a pair for my birthday (Ema style)and love the comfort and fit

Beverages:
14 - Big Rock Lime beer & Tim's Chai tea!!

and 15- Pinterest, I have always collected pages of recipes and crafts and put in binders but this makes it soooo easy, that and I like the computer and less paper!

My day involved gifts, at work I put together the kid goody bags which is always fun
I forgot to snap the finished bags but you get the idea, there were 28 kids signed up this year
then after dropping stuff for Travis to take to Oyen, washing my car, filling with gas, a quick tan and dropping toys at Toy Mountain I headed home to start wrapping gifts I have bought so far. Britt loaded her bottles in the truck then got ready for her big night at winter formal dance. Will post picture tomorrow.

I started supper while Sheldon took down the bale wrap but Britt needed to meet her friends so we turned supper off and headed to town. I had a bag of goodies for Kaylin so we dropped in her truck, dropped off Britt to get ready with her girlfriends and eat pizza, picked up more ornaments and beer before driving home to eat supper. Shaina text she is finally back in town after her ski venture and is visiting with Brandon, he gave her a ride home around 9:30. After supper I had to finish the puzzle while Sheldon relaxed with TV shows.
Shaina picked up Britt from her social night at 2 am. I was waiting for the call but more watching the clock before she went and picked her up but once they were back at 2:30 I had to read for another hour but could not quite finish my Mortal Series book.
