Lucky me, I had a work lunch out at the Station. Later in the afternoon I headed to Walmart to buy the kids goody bag stuff for my work. It is always fun to do but never for the people behind me in line waiting for gift cards to be filled manually :-)
I then had to make a few stops to find pickling spice for my Christmas project. I am glad my Dad does not read the blog or I would have to eliminate my master plan to create spicy pickled eggs for him. I am hoping he likes them. Once home I cleaned the island then boiled eggs. Once home from work Sheldon helped me peel them on a promise for his own quart. He also peeled a few carrots as I had brine left over so we packed them up too.
