Cedar chest up next

After coffee I dark waxed the frame. The flower paper had 2 clear coats brushed on over the day. I started a new project today- the cedar chest. The top was covered in stripper. Many areas were wood filled. While the tops stripper sat for over an hour, Britt and I scooped poop in the house paddock. We filled 3+ wagonfuls. I scraped it off and neutralized it while B finished up. Sheldon went to town. He came back with Opa for lunch.

The cedar chest top was power and hand sanded. The base was stripped after being removed. Garden work in the beautiful sunshine up next.

S retrieved the skid steer with Britt's help around 3:30. I took it out to flatten dirt mounds around the loads of gopher holes dug this year. B cleaned the waterer out. S tightened the loose bottom wire on the north fence. He then went driving around in the ranger.

some of my flattened gopher holes

After a couple hours of mound busting I came in to cook up zoodles and sauce with corn on the cob (Thanks Mom) After supper B and S went to pick raspberries next door. I wrote todays post. Then to sanding the chest base. It was so nice out I took a break and took H for a walk. Back in the garage to sand. I wrapped up my day with a soak in the hot tub then some Netflix. Dave arrived around 9. He ate while visiting with S. He was then off to watch a movie with B staying the night.
