Holy rain day

The rain was in full force all day and a deep soaking rain to boot. Why did I not get my garden in? Well because I could not find seed potatoes was one reason ;) Cappuccinos and marketing before getting the yellow jewelry box dark waxed. Then it was staging time.

I put on a pot of soup bones to simmer for the day adding to it later in the afternoon and completing for supper. Lunch was a tuna sandwich for day 3 in a row, well technically it was supper on day one.

Seeing it was an indoor day and I cannot haul out the tables to sand I decided to try out my new mop and cleaning solution as per @gocleanco on Instagram. I knew the water will be dirty seeing the floor has not had a deep cleaning for some time (AKA last cleaning ladies) and sure enough it was. Now to see if a few more times removes the dull finish they say is from the Bona mop I usually use.

The orthopedic vet doing Lola's surgery booked next week called to chat about it which was nice. He will be doing a TPLO surgery.

hard to read but it is 1 1/2"!!

so much water it is collecting outside the tanks

The rain let up around 4 but the wind picked up terribly. I ran out to check the gauge and we had 1 1/2" since last night when I dumped. Wow!!

this lone doe had these two on high alert!!

Soup was delicious for supper on a cold blustery day. Then it was back to accounting. I was working on it still when Britt and Cooper arrived at 7. She headed out to feed her horses then was off 45 minutes later. The wind had let up a bit but was still ugly. Once I finished accounting I wrote a tutorial for the latest dining table with 3 leaves. To round out my evening I finished the season of Outer Banks.

Britt shared her near finished deck.. just painting/staining left now
