Buffet picked up

The dreary day needed coffee to start esp since we were awake after 7:30. Spitz of rain happened a few times during the day but nothing really. B requested Bird have a rain sheet put on so I was out at 10 to put it on while chatting with Mom on my cell. I gave Bandit his pill and let the 2 girls out to graze in winter pasture. Back inside I put on supper in the slow cooker. First time trying this option in the boxed meal service. Then I was off to paint the spools.

After lunch I was back painting the spools. S was off to town around 2 to fetch up a new trailer battery, grab some groceries and water system parts. The winner of my wood filler giveaway stopped to pick up and have a short visit, she is a fellow painter from Drumheller.

The sun peeked out at 4 with S pulling in after. He unloaded the booze and groceries he bought then lovingly hit big brown. Tash and Curtis arrived at 5 to pick up the buffet loading it in the back of their truck. Good thing they live only a few miles away. We had a short distanced visit and they were off.

I finished the slow cooker supper to enjoy early for once around 5:30. The slow cooker stroganoff pasta was good. S hit BB and I got to work on catching up the blog. B and C were out for their chores after 6:30. The sun was out brighter but still windy. Again she popped in quick waiting for Cooper's return and then they were off. I wrote a tutorial for the stenciled dresser and got it posted on a few pages and sent to all the sponsors by 9. Movie time. S made popcorn and drinks while I finished up then we watched Extraction. It was action packed. S was off to sleep and I watched another Restaurants on The Edge; almost done that series.
