Dresser near complete

Today I am determined to get he custom dresser done but first a bit of marketing and cappuccino and on my second cup I started a new puzzle. Got to keep the brain sharp.

I did a test drawer with the highlight color and sent to customer.

lighter color added on right drawer

I have been storing the red jewelry box for the buyer who popped out at lunch to pick it up. It is a gift for her roommate sister but can now be wrapped and not seen till 6 days from now. While I awaited for her to arrive I worked on the puzzle.

Then it was time to get he dresser painted a second coat along with the brighter blue highlight.

While it dried I ran the horses their pills seeing they were in for water. It was above zero but poor Daisy seems to have rubbed a bit more hair off or maybe it is her frostbitten looking skin. The poor girl.

I had a late leftover lunch at 2:30 then headed back out to clear wax the dresser and clear coat the top.

The customer pondered spray painting the hardware silver but glad she kept original after this photo with it and the top drawer dark waxed for approval

While that dried I finished the puzzle ;) and did some laundry and dishes of course.

The dresser was then all dark waxed and the growth ruler board was sanded and the knots primed to prevent bleed thru.

Dresser all dark waxed with just hardware to put back on if all ok'd
