Shaina left at the same time we did just before 10. She was off to her personal training outside town and us to S allergy testing in the deep NW. After dropping him off I toured Safeway waiting for Kaylin to join me to have a Starbucks but due to waiting for a lady buying something Shaina was selling and her 20 min drive over he did not make it till almost noon. We picked up S from his allergy testing which cleared him of any allergens and headed to Noteable for lunch. It is a fancy high end place; I had the brisket sandwich and they the noodle bowl. All were ok but not to die for kinda meal but was really nice to catch up with her especially since she leaves Friday for her Mexican vacation at 6 am.
We said our goodbyes after she dropped us at the car and we were off to my dental appointment. Today is the impression for my permanent implant crown next week. It was a quick appointment and we were then off to Costco grabbing a Tim’s chai for the shopping adventure. We stocked up with snacks for Christmas and restocking.
IKEA was next and after getting our list we started for home only to see my receipt showed I paid for 6 wooden stools (for my milk paint classes) and only got 5. We had not yet hit the city limits so quickly turned around and went back. It took a quick check of the security camera to confirm only 5 were on the cart, the refund was done and we were headed back home.
Time to unload it all then kick enjoy a cold beer and bean dip after a filling lunch. A fire was started while watching Ellen’s Greatest Giveaways. Time to try the gingerbread rum with egg nog, scrumptious I have to say.!
It feels really odd not to be doctoring horses at 8:30!! Fingers crossed though all are on the mend. Time for Netflix and relax.
