B stays the night

Monday again, home day for the prince. In my typical OCD style I did more paint touch ups to the white projects and got them ready to go with their stickers and care instructions.

Can you spot the differences between these 2 bread boxes?
items ready for pick up

I then worked on yet another white project, the little stool. More sanding, wiping then dark waxing to give it age.

sanded and ready for dark wax

dark wax added, perfect touch right?

Wanting to get a new bigger project started I headed to the garage. The kids table and chairs called out to be done so I hauled them out and got busy. Originally I thought I would chalk paint the table top and paint the rest but after taking it apart I thought about milk paint, perfect for the raw IKEA wood, this morphed into the grey stain oil finish. I power sanded all sides once apart then applied the first coat. I was just finishing up at 4 as Britt and Copper rolled in.

We watched Ellen and had a bowl of soup (told you this pot would sustain me for the week ;) B was off to town to meet friends at 6. While waiting for Lola and Cooper to do their perimeter checks I touched up an area on one of the chairs quickly sanding and restaining.
Cooper had a heart check, seems he may have a heart murmur

Back in the computer room it was time to write more blog posts; Rose gold keepsake box went live then had to be reverted to draft as the rose gold paint has not been announced yet. So I finished the green jewelry box post and put it live. Tonight I watched water color painting tutorials while doing computer work. For the last few nights I have been watching all kinds of art; acrylic ocean scenes, mandala art, watercolor etc.

B was back after 9. Before she left I challenged her to draw a mandala and now a bit of hand lettering. We had another mandala challenge and name that tune contest. B had seen Bohemian Rhapsody and now a keen Queen fan. Sheldon pulled in at 11 as we were finishing up. Which one catches your eye?
