Early Easter

What the heck, sleep in day only to awaken to a text from Amanda before 10 as a church reminder for Prince. Needless to say he wont be making it today. I got the turkey out to get it prepped for supper. Britt was up by 11 and whipped up homemade waffles in her "new" waffle iron, thanks Gran. My next project was to make fresh apple pie. whew thanks to Grandma B peeler it sure went fast. Thanks Grandma! The horses enjoyed the peels and cores so all went to good use.

B and I gave Lola her wormer, planned to do the horses but do not have enough on hand. Need to stock up this week. Sheldon eventually got motivated to do a few things in the shop before company arrives around 1:30. Britt went and helped him hang plywood. I finished supper prep and worked on blog posts.

The Paetz's were first to arrive with Shaina, Kaylin and Brad soon behind. A lovely fun visit and really yummy supper I must say myself was enjoyed by all. Grama Pat called to say hi to all too.

 Paetz's loaded up and were heading home just before 8 again followed by the Calgary crew and not long after Britt. All different directions ;) Thanks everyone for helping with supper and making another memorable get together. Darn we missed our family picture!

Sheldon and I kicked back for a bit before he ventured back to the shop to finish up a few things and snap a few pictures, I worked on the blog followed up by a hot soak after our busy day. Happy early Easter palm Sunday everyone!!
