B is back

A wee bit of a sleep in till 9:15 leaving just enough time for a coffee then Sheldon ran Coco to her long awaited spa day. I got to work on the coffee table putting 4 coats of clear poly throughout the day. It also got the dark wax treatment too.

I staged the grey quilt rack and posted for sale

and snapped this pic of the coat tree in place for the gal that gave it to me

Once back Sheldon pushed the tubs around to make room for the barn use. A delicious turkey sandwich was our lunch, the best part after the turkey dinner and before the soup. Sheldon ran back to pick up Coco and grabbed me some dowels for my vanity stool I needed. He was then off to the airport after 2 making a stop to register his fireball truck and make his flight back to work.

Now to install the dowels with glue and rebuilt the stool base. Of course it was a bit wonky but paint cans work to weigh it level overnight

I cut out the canvas and cushion and went about ironing it smooth only to find my iron crapped out.. sheesh. I threw the turkey bones on to simmer for a yummy soup. Time to write some blog posts on the fresco shelves and the quilt rack and started the vanity combo and roll top desk.

Britt was back home after 6 with no class in the am and an ultrasound on her wrist after lunch in the city. She and I went out to work Switch and Bird. What a lovely night after a beautiful 12 day. She tossed hay while I grazed the two a bit then back inside to finish the soup for me and clean her bathroom and move back in ;)
