yes that is a whale splashing right beside a boat of watchers (the wee black dot), there were a few that put on a good half hour show right around this boat, the show they got as from our room it was good
It was direct with no stops getting us there in half an hour but this is where the speediness ended ;( Our departure flight was slated to leave at 12:15. Loaded and waiting and waiting a bit more turned into over 2 hours sitting on the tarmac. It turns out the speed brake had an issue and yes it might be important to have it but sitting on black pavement in a full capacity plane with no A/C proved a bit warm with no services. They did start to hand out water about 2 1/2 hours when the paperwork finally arrived but it never reached our seats. The flight was ok but I forgot to mention this was first flight we could not get seats together and I had all the snacks!! Poor Sheldon had to suffer with only plane food ;) We even picked up a bit of time but this delay put us out of the cue requiring us to sit for half an hour after landing on Calgary's runway!
Finally by 8 we had our luggage, checked thru customs and off to get the car. Seeing there was snow and I had shorts and flip flops, gallant Sheldon went to grabbed the buried car. It took a bit of time to get the feet of snow off but her was back to pick me and the luggage up and I had him a hot Tim's chai.
The roads were ok getting us home after 9 to an excited, cold and hungry Lola. (Shaina had tucked her in last night and Sharon popped over to let her out and give her breakfast this am, THANKS girls!) I caught up on a few CM sales emails before heading to bed to finish my 2nd book of the trip, Learning To Fall. Poor Sheldon had tummy issues today which worsened as the day went on and sent him to bed soon after home.
