Monday was a busy city day. It started totally fogged in, Britt actually skipped first class doing her homework waiting for it to lift. We headed to the city at 11 and as we headed west the fog lifted before Langdon becoming a sunny and nice day.
First stop was to Lee Valley. Sheldon had never seen this store before, if you haven't it is quite a place. Suggestion, order online and get at pickup window. It was about 15 deep in the order line at all times on a Monday! Next was to a paint store to grab a wax by Annie Sloan I wanted to try. (this is the one Auntie I sent you the link for paint)
After a few detours in the downtown area, the next stop was to the Saddle dome to cancel a crew party for a flames game supper night. Sadly not enough commitment to do. Market mall to grab quick bite then off to naturopath appointments before Xmas shopping. We met Kaylin at Northhill mall to give her her Nativity set I finally found in my many boxes as well as grab work boots for the Prince.
The final stop before heading home was supper at a wee place called Open Range. This is highly recommended for those of you carnivores out there that like great food in a warm and cozy place.
the yummy Porterhouse steak.. AKA T-Bone.. hahaha lesson of the night
Spanish coffee by the fire!! scrumptious
I loved the original oil painting at our table, if I only had a few more pennies ;-) by Joe Coffey $4500.
Back at the ranch Britt was napping not having to work today! Sheldon ran out a able to the horses just as chinook winds started to blow. We finished up season 6 of Sons of Anarchy!
