US visitors

Monday was a get it done day before Sheldon heads north for a two week stint this time. Debby and her friend Mary arrived around 7, grabbed a beer and some tacos and started the visit. Mom arrived around 10 to join in.

Tuesday Britt drove Sheldon to the airport in the early morning.  We girls got up and enjoyed a flavored coffee and soon loaded up and headed west. We stopped to pick up Kaylin and Lexi, grab some wet treats for the road and ventured to Canmore where we hiked a great trail to Grassi lakes. The weather was awesome hitting around 30. Lunch followed , a quick stop at a souvenir store and we were headed back east.

After dropping off Kaylin we got home around 5:30. A cold beer with chips and salsa then it was time to go riding. Mary was the camera girl while we taught Mom and Deb the sport of polocrosse. What a busy but fun day! Composted poop trucks started their dumps today.

Wednesday was another great day turning into the hottest day of the year at 32. We decided why not go to the zoo, this was after stopping at Amanda's for a house tour. Mom headed back home when we went to the city. It was a great but HOT day at the zoo.

Deb and Mary left the zoo to continue their Alberta vacation. Amanda  kindly dropped me off at home around 3. and it was time to stay in the house for a bit. Britt did not go along choosing to stay home and do laundry. Shaina had gone to doctor before heading to work at the gym. Again it was too hot to cook so snacks sufficed as supper. Around 7, even though it was still 27ish, we went for a ride. Kate and Shannon joined us. What a beauty night again. I soaked and treated Hawk's feet once back, they seem to be getting a bit better.
