745 - gorgeous day for polox

Day 745 was a beautiful day high of 29 I think.  Great day for polocrosse!!

At 12:30 in the night Britt saw horses out, she drove to the gate to shut and I found only Daisy out cleaning up dishes, hahaha. Shaina did not make the camp out as too cold, her and Emily came and slept here. Shaina works at 2 today so sadly will not be joining us on the field.

Sheldon and I were up at 9:30 and rousted Britt at 10, our plan was to have horses loaded and on the road by 11 but it was 11:15 before we were. Of course our luck leaving late had us waiting for a train too but we arrived at the field and tacked up and were on the field in time.

It was a fantastic day of play, not for the Aussie girl who had two mishaps, the 2nd one taking her out of the day totally . The city did not leave out the hose so Britt tried to break in with no luck but she did get water via a solo cup and bucket from the bathroom sink.

We enjoyed happy hour in the sun before heading home around 4:30. Britt and I hosed horses while Sheldon pitched the unwanted now hay. Julio promptly rolled in the dirt and was on his way to graze :-)
Diego was happy we were home
Pepper shakes off his roll and below is pig pen who promptly after being hosed rolled in the dust
Barbqued salmon burgers and salad was supper while hockey played on the TV. Showers were enjoyed by all and a relaxing night followed.
