coyotes are brazen one was near the draw this am so I sent Lola off, hard to see her little white blip and him in the distance
I sipped my cappuccino and did some more marketing then got a 2nd coat of teal blue on the S&P sets.
I went out at 11 to give Pep his pill and refill the salt/mineral tub and grab a fresh apple for myself. B and Coop arrived after 11:30. She dropped him and unloaded a bit then was off to town. I was folding laundry when she got back after putting a 3rd coat on the S&P sets when she found Cooper like this.
I held him while she pulled 7 out but his growing anxiety had her loading him up and taking him to the vets. Wanting me to come along, I jumped in and we were off to town around 1. Dr Jodi asked Britt if she wanted to help in the removal so she and cooper headed to the back and I went to visit Amanda. They were done in about half an hour removing about 7 more, cleaning his ears and trimming nails. We loaded the drunken sailor and headed home detouring thru Tim's for an ice cap. THANKS B!
Back at the ranch drunken Cooper was confined to the house to wear off the sedative... and it took a few hours to come around. I dark waxed the S&P sets and staged them up while B worked on setting up utility hook ups.
Once released Cooper and Lola were off, B went with quad to find them and send home and it seems Cooper smells very much like a skunk!! Oh MY, my highly sensitive nose scented it right away and sent him back outside while I was making a yummy salmon/rice/zucchini dinner for us.. B says she can't smell it, denial I believe LOL. Cooper has his Friday 13th luck moved to Saturday the 14th!
After supper B was off to watch Netflix while I worked on blog posts, marketing, tutorials, photo organization etc while watching Mind Hunter on my ipad. Later in the evening B brought Cooper in for a bath (using hydrogen peroxide, blue dawn soap and baking soda) and finally smelled the skunk smell.
While I was in bed watching Netflix I had a young gal want a jewelry box, she went with the red one I have finished. Great way to end the day.
