summer fun

End of another summer week, please slow down!! I did manage to roust Britt about 10 to help me carry in the table now that I had the hardware back on. The staging process takes time but again after quite a few accessory changes I think I found the picture that worked.

this is the one.. eclectic but catchy

this shot was to show the painted inside
and yes the color changes as the crappy outside overcast weather changed but the final picture shows true color so all is well, now to post all over and write up the blog.. while eating some pie!

The white dresser had the last drawer repair sanded and I painted up all 3 repaired edges as well as hand painted the 4 legs. During this I helped Shaina via text and phone learn how to hard boil eggs, seems there was a big learning curve even with 4 phone calls and more texts but in the end I think she mastered it, yeah Shaina!

Britt had another unmotivated morning after her big help to carry in but she did manage to go feed the girls around 2 then get ready for her 3 pm work shift. Sheldon hoped to get home early but it did not happen. Arriving home at 4, we loaded a cooler with drinks and jumped in the fireball for a road trip to Crawling Valley. The Stouts have a summer "homer" there and the invite to supper and do something summer like was a fantastic opportunity. Now the weather had other ideas and a storm rolled in as we cruised the #1 following us to the campsite. The ever organized Sharon had the smokies ready to roll before the rain hit along with a super array of summer treats. The weather let up and the sun even came out for the evening as we loaded up on the pontoon boat and got the Stout fishing experience. Sheldon and I each managed to catch 2 each with their coaching. The night was rounded out with a fantastic fire and more catch up.. what a great night out, THANK YOU STOUTS!! XOXO

 my one fish.. ;)
Sheldon finally reeling in his first catch in the fishing queens lucky spot
