Another beauty of a day… though we can feel it slowly tipping back toward winter. A little sad — so best to soak up every minute while we can.
I made coffees and delivered them to bed where we each perused our socials. With my second cup, I published Wednesday’s blog then hopped in the shower. S, of course, had the Olympics playing — and yes, hockey.
It’s Friday the 13th, but also Kaylin’s “Galentine’s” celebration tonight. Cooper is having a sleepover, and I am officially in charge of all pets.
I fed the horses their hay along with Harley and the cats while S dedicated his morning to Olympic events.
Mom arrived around noon with pizza in hand — Sheldon’s favourite food. We ate, visited, and caught up for four hours while the men’s hockey game played in the background.
I followed Mom into town — she turned left toward Paetz’s and I turned right to B’s. I picked up Cooper, dropped off the multi-blue puzzle for her to do, returned her books to her library, and tossed the trash at the dump on the way home.
Back at the ranch, I fed the dogs, mixed the horse feed, and fed the horses since B was at Kaylin’s party. (Much easier carrying today, and the ponies sorted themselves into their buckets without as much drama.) I tossed another small square bale into multiple piles and then took both dogs for a walk.
S had already hit the bed before I left and was fully relaxing when I returned. We had supper and started Peaky Blinders at the usual 7 p.m. Again, we made it through two episodes — though S nearly missed the first season finale drifting off.
Once he was asleep, I did my Spanish lessons and called it a day.

Looks like the girls had a good time!
