Holy cow! Upon waking, I was greeted with a bone-chilling -11 degree Celsius. The dreary and dull wind forecasted another gloomy day ahead. As a first priority after my coffee, I remembered to draw the winner of my anniversary paint package. Unfortunately, there weren’t many entries after two days, which made me feel like a big waste of time. But I shall endure trying to keep my page seen.
I then published my potato bin tutorial and shared it with numerous groups and sites. S had moved to a big brown and was on his laptop after his oatmeal and coffee. I had a late breakfast of banana and cream and headed down to organize the games and puzzle shelf in the storage room. I managed to purge a stack of unplayed games and puzzles, which felt satisfying to cross off my list.
S was cooking up side pork and had the vegetables chopped for lunch when I finished up my organizing just before 1 p.m. Since we had our Saturday afternoon Zoom workshop at 1 p.m., we ate off to the side while listening to the presenters. Britt was out before 3 p.m. but had to soak her feed because she hadn’t distributed it in her buckets as usual for us to fill in the morning. She spent about an hour in her room, fed, and then went off. She sent me a picture of Switch nasal drip—damn it! This may indicate a rotten tooth that did not show on the X-rays or possible brain mass like Bandit ;(
Snow had started when Britt arrived lightly and then came down a bit heavier before returning to light as our workshop ended at 5 p.m. Hockey hit the TV as S sorted out the new bonus channels we wanted with our new Shaw service coming soon. Bell is being uncooperative with new equipment and cards, so after 15 years, they’re fired. We had leftovers for supper as another hockey game played on.
I headed to bed to work on Spanish, the blog, and check flight costs to the island and Ottawa. After 9:30, I actually left his hockey viewing (because Vancouver was winning) to relax in bed. I changed the flight search to Manchester, wow that is a bit more costly. We watched a couple of episodes of Shrinking to wrap up the day.
