After a typical start to the day, it was time to tick off items from our to-do lists. I took out the drawers from the dresser and asked S for help in hauling them inside. While I painted the inside edge straight and made some minor touch-ups, then I repainted the hardware this time in a bright gold finish.
S then unloaded the lumber in the garage and met a fellow at the gate to sell his old chain saw. After returning, he continued to work on his workbench plan, going in and out of the shop to check on it. Once the gold dried a bit I set them in place and staged the dresser.
After the workshop concluded, we embarked on a culinary adventure, preparing a delectable tenderloin and roasted vegetable supper. The Flames had a game this afternoon, so it was muted while playing during the workshop. However, the hockey night in Canada was in full swing now, on TV. S washed the bowls while I took Harley for her evening walk. The horses are always eager to receive more food and rush to the paddock whenever they spot us. Just look at their speed!
I grabbed the fork and performed a poop scoop loop, and those dark clouds began to unleash snow. It was quite a sight, with the sun shining brightly on one side of the sky. The snowfall was brief, but it did leave a bit of moisture in the air. Back inside, S was engrossed in watching hockey, but we decided to head out for a soak in the hot tub. The sunset was absolutely stunning, and the warm water proved beneficial for his hamstring injury.
We received our picture back from the church photographer. I suppose this is us! And below a daily dose of our sweet Renny <3
He was back to hockey and I the Love is Blind reunion season 2 in bed. After hockey ended, we finished John Wick chapter 2. I wasn’t a fan of this one because it was too hokey. Chapter 3 is a pay-per-view, so we started the spin-off called The Continentalwith Mel Gibson. Wow, it’s been a long time since he made a movie. My sister fell asleep halfway through, so we ended it and I watched another Love Meghan cooking episode instead.
