It was another day much like yesterday, starting brisk and overcast with a dreary -3 degrees Celsius. I had coffee and relaxed in bed before posting a blog. We then returned to the bison sheet. There are so many numbers in our heads that need to be decoded on. Add to that my OCD for things to look neat and pretty. Good thing they are not paying me by the hour! or at all, lol :) Goodbye morning. S did take Har for a walk to the gate and released the horses.
Mid afternoon, S went out to change the oil in the truck to feel a sense of accomplishment. I finished writing yesterday's blog which I will post tonight and finally catch up then worked on today's blog. The temperature outside is now a pleasant 7 degrees Celsius, almost 5 pm. After the oil change, S also skinned one of the bison heads he had brought back after the cull. Harley was extremely curious to sniff his coveralls once he returned.
I had prepared a salad, pasta and vegetables, while S grilled some smokies on the BBQ. It was a delightful supper, enjoyed in the sunshine at the island. Afterward, we took a hot tub soak while the sun was still out, which is now past 7:30 p.m. I showered, and S perused the bison spreadsheet for errors before sending to Jarrod. B was out to feed the animals and then headed home before dark at 8 p.m. She sent a message saying there was a parcel at the gate, but she didn’t want to bring it back. I put my wet hair in a toque, pulled on my coveralls, and walked to the gate to retrieve it. Back at home, I climbed into bed and started watching Surface. Not long after S joined me, we switched to Running Point until we both fell asleep.
