Harley starts her emotional therapy job

It was an early morning. S took Harley out after 7. I joined him and Ma K for coffee. I contacted Dyson to get details on a new powerhead, but it was out of stock for a few weeks. Candace arrived a while later and joined us. It was a nice catch-up. S had a couple of rodeo calls and then went to fill Grama’s car with gas. He was then off to visit Papa. Candace went shopping, and I helped deactivate extra Instagram and Facebook accounts for Grama and streamlined things. FYI, Carl Kuhn’s account on both social media platforms is where they are active. (I didn’t delete the two extra Instagram accounts or the old PatCarl Facebook account due to lost passwords.)

S wanted me to bring Harley for a visit outdoors at 1, but he had the car keys in his pocket, so he had to come back and give them to me. I loaded Harley and followed him and Grama back. The temperature was over 10 degrees Celsius, but there was a bitter wind and now it’s overcast after a sunny morning. A man going in with his therapy dog said, “Take her inside. They let dogs in the hospital.” Harley spent the next couple of hours getting pet by multiple people and kids, including Papa, who was happy to see her.

Candace was there as well as Uncle Jim stopped to join us at the Tim's table too. Grama and I took Harley out to the car after 3, S took Papa to his room. Grama suggested we go to a buffet place they like as we had yet to eat since breakfast. She and I set off and found it closed till 4:30. S was diverted to meet us at Earls. It was a tasty supper and beverage, thanks Grama.

Renn at school but seems once she got home she had developed a fever again and both she and Nathan are not feeling good ;(

Back at the house, it was 4:30, but Harley wasn’t hungry; instead, she was extremely thirsty after all her panting. We had and a bowl of fresh homemade apple crisp while S caught the beginning of the Flames game. However, when the Devils scored their second goal, we loaded up Harley and headed west after 6. On the drive home, the Flames managed to score enough goals to win, which made S a very happy driver.

Once we returned to the ranch, I fed Harley, who had just wanted water earlier, along with the cats. Inside, S was engrossed in his laptop, having a snack while watching more hockey on TV. I quickly did some marketing, and then we headed out for a hot tub soak during intermission. It felt soothing on S’s hamstring injury. I had a quick hair washing shower and crawled into bed to catch up on the blog and the Love is Blind reunion. S joined me after the hockey game to search for heat pumps. We decided to start watching John Wick (I’ve been hearing about it for the past few days, and S had seen it but wanted to watch it again). This movie took us until almost 1 am to finish. To sustain us during the break, I made yogurt bowls.
