Renn loves peanut butter and puzzle day

OMG, have you ever seen a cuter kid?? Renny loves peanut butter like her Mom and licks it like Beans.

You cannot not smile watching this sweetie!

HOLY COLD.. it was -28 when we woke with a wind chill of -40!! This is when we all question why we live here. Definitely need coffee. Dave arrived at 9:30 with Cooper joining S for coffee and bowl of porridge. I was back to work on the puzzle. Dave was off to Airdrie for truck appointment after 10. A text came at 10:30 saying our GoodFood box was delivered. After contacting the company it was found delivered to the gate!!! We do not have the truck plugged in and if we open the garage the plants will for sure die.

puzzle progress at noon

S plugged in the truck and ran to the gate at noon. Of course all the veggies were frozen ;( What was the driver thinking? We will salvage what we can. Leftovers and back to the puzzle. S had a rest before his shinny date with Dave later. He headed to town before 1:30 to pick up a library book for me, drop off his nail test at the lab then meet Dave for shiny at 2:45. He grabbed some milk on way home arriving back after 4:30. I stayed in my pj’s all days working on the puzzle.

Dave arrived not long after and the cribs tournament began for day 2. I salvaged most of the GoodFood and made deconstructed zucchini bowls for supper. It worked out great with more than enough supper for the 4 of us. Dave went out to feed Bird just before B got home. She joined him and they both concluded it was insanely cold out there with the wind.

Renn learned life jacket safety at tonight's swim lesson with Nathan, good thing the pool is really warm 32 and indoors ;)

B and I finished the puzzle. There was 1 piece missing. We had our phone lights out and looking everywhere. It turned up by my bed must have been caught on my housecoat last night. Dave and Sheldon finished up their crib tournament. They headed off at 10 when it was -30 feeling like -42. This cold snap is ridiculous!

puzzle complete, thanks Stouts for the loaner

We finished the You Are What You Eat series before lights out. Check out day 4 of our Palm Springs trip - thrift shopping! And the elusive coloured Stanley cup found!
