wild herd roams free 10/10/15

A semi pulled in to load bales just after 8:30 as coffee was brewing started the Saturday full force.
He was back for 2nd load couple hours later
A couple stopped later in the morning to pick up their new dining table.
It wasn't long and the wind arrived again as forecast. Sheldon and I put the temporary fence up while Britt hosed of Bird and even took her out for a spin. It was then time for the big release, freedom at last and food they whinnied!
the pied piper
 and they are off

and these two rode in the roaring wind and wild herd blasting around to the east, good girls

Lola has a harder job now keeping track of the herd but she takes it in stride
over wintered dahlia continuing to show its fall beauty
Bird gets released to join.. this girl can RUN

 added security measures ;)
 roaming wild and free

After lunch we all headed to town, first stop advanced polling station where the 3 of us voted. Britt was off to take in bottles and have a massage while Sheldon and I did some errands before heading home. My custom dresser gal and son arrived to pick it up once we were home. Things are moving which is nice to see as my garage is looking less and less.
Sheldon repaired a section of the fence and inflated the gate tire while I vacuumed and posted the green pieces for sale. Supper was sausage seeing it is big Acadia Valley sausage fry and all ;) Shaina arrived after her work shift and voting and enjoyed sausage too packing up the rest for Kaylin. She and Britt headed back into town while Sheldon finished his Calgary football then hockey games and troubleshot the non working furnace. I finished The Nightingale, great read 4.5 stars! My girls, please read. The warm wind roared all day and into the night but brought a 24 degree day. I would take less temp and no wind ;)
