Britt off to school while coffee started the day. Sheldon likes a relaxing last day before heading north so was a very slow start to his day. I staged up the custom trunk after detailing it with black glaze.
The grade 12ers arrived for the big spare block playing pool and trying to decide if the tie matched ;) Pizza was on the lunch menu for all and eventually after they were headed back to school, I convinced Sheldon to put on some pants and we walked the dogs.

The neighbors continued to dump their crap piles and the smell of methane has been horrid, yuck, hope it dissipates in next couple weeks for sure. Our walks help us focus on the next projects, today it was decided that the pro till worked great but was no where near the fence line where we ride nor around the well heads. Original plans to harrow it were ruled out after walking it, rototilling is the best answer, now to add to the list.
A great shop pick up was next, we got the new shelving units set and filling them began. I snapped photos and posted a few more things to purge while Sheldon sorted his treasures.
Britt picked up this nightstand from town I won in an auction, thanks B. I got it moved inside and hauled things to the shop from the garage helping in the organizing.
The shop was looking awesome once most things had a home, I made the mistake of asking Sheldon to cut the large antler in pieces so the dogs could get at the center easier. This caused for a breakage of the new saw in a few pieces, not only once but he tried twice. The antler was cut up though in the end ;(
By now Britt was home from school and it was not long before she and I caught the horses and were off to lessons for another amazing weather night. The day started with snow in Calgary and a wee skiff here and was only about 13 but by evening it was calm and beautiful to ride outdoors yet again.
While we were learning, Sheldon borrowed Marvin (Field Stone winery neighbor) rototiller and worked up the edge around the newly seeded field and along our trees at the highway, well done, it looks great.
