belated birthday supper, YUM!

Friday, no school flex, sort of a sleep in day ;) well for Britt at least. Time to do some inside stuff, Sheldon organized recycables to take to town, while I painted the trunk another coat, I also sweet talked Britt into grooming Lola who loves to be brushed.

Just after a quick bite of lunch Sheldon and I headed to town on errands leaving Britt to get ready for work at 2. We hung posters up at a few places for Baby, restocked on cartrophen and dewormer for Diego, enjoyed some chai tea, signed taxes (I had to pay ;( ) and scored a great pallet shelving unit Canadian tire had for free from all the bedding plants.

We arrived home just as Grama and Papa pulled in. They drove up to take us birthday girls out for a belated supper. While we waited for Britt to finish up at work at 7, Grama kindly sewed on a couple sequins that were loose on B's grad dress, THANKS Grama! Beers and visit before we ran to town grabbing another pallet shelf on way to Original Joes to meet Britt there for her first time. Supper was fantastic!! Thanks for that Papa!! The Flames game started and after first period ended and scored was tied, Grama & Papa headed back to the Hat and we dropped Britt at the station, deciding to go in ourselves and watch the rest of the game. Sadly they lost and we came home. I brought B's car and she was dropped off a little bit later. Another very good day!
