ride in the sun with Shaina

Wahoo another sunny day however this one has some wind. Lola chose to stay out overnight as it hovered near freezing but did not go under. Today had every one on a task. Britt- school and work, Sheldon took down xmas lights before he was off to town to get wood for the barn progress and install the new micro wave at the rental. He ran us home lunch and got more tools and was back in to finish and grab some groceries for our Paetz supper on Sunday. Excited to see them all since our vacation.

Julio came for water early so I ran him out his food, Lola is getting braver with horses or maybe just Ju as he has good snacks ;)

Now I spent time out picking more dog crap and showing Lola's tricks to him then I worked in the garage repairing the other saddle stool and painting up the small hook rack choosing purples for the color.

 power tools again yeah.. I drilled out these dowels and replaced

 then glued up the other stool too

the horses came for a drink in the lake later in the afternoon on this sunny +13 day

Shaina stopped out after a shift in town and she and I went for a ride taking the dogs along as well. Poor Lola got her first kick from dog disliker Hawk. It was a lovely sunny yet very wet ride, there were 2 muddy dogs and 2 horses by the end. We arrived back home as the egg lady made a delivery and as we were brushing Sheldon made it home with a hot tea for us. Thanks !! He also found another "treasure" at his favorite store.. this air nailer on a super deal with tons of bonus items, like a kid in a candy store he is with new tools. A load of wood for the barn, groceries and my parcel were part of his load as well. Yeah!

I had put on ribs before the ride so once back it was time to barbecue them up for supper, Shaina worked on applying for University of Calgary, she may be going next fall for kiniesiology. Britt worked again after school not getting home till after 9. Shaina headed home not long after, spare ribs in hand, as Sheldon went to bed. Britt and I snuggled in my bed and watched Buck, good horse related documentary on Netflix.
