Happy Easter

Happy Easter all. I was awake before 8 as usual to a bright sunny Sunday. The usual coffee brain games and holiday wishes sent to start. We hit the hot tub for a sunny soak. After a shower S was off to garage to build last 2 boxes. I did yesterday's blog before hauling items up to go.

Our folding chairs and a stacking stool along with the OG high chair were brought up. The 18 qt roaster oven (saving grace item when the hostess’s oven is full of turkey) was brought up and filled with tasty cabbage rolls thanks to Ma K xoxo. I got them warming. Renn’s first Easter gift and snacks were packed up as well as items for Mom. When S was done his nesting boxes, he loaded them in the truck. Candace FaceTimed us for an Easter visit as I flat ironed my locks and did last minute prep. Britt was out to feed as we were packing up then set off to change her clothes as we headed out before1.

Kaylin, Nathan and Renn had already arrived at Paetz’s and testing out the Walker, bouncy seat and toys. Shaina and Britt joined us as did Mom and Travis with Dave arriving after his day training around 2:30. It was a lovely visit.

The turkey meal was fantastic, big thanks to all who contributed and to AJ and Craig for hosting.

There were also a few rounds of a jelly bean game with good/bad flavors. Dave was not a fan of old bandage nor I of vomit!!

Renn napped during supper but got her plate once wake

Renn did not yet figure out the walker other then a few backwards pushes but enjoyed chauffeur service, thanks Shaina

4 generation photos were next. THANKS to Shaina for taking them.

Next time no fan to distract and perhaps an outdoor setting

Renn has always loved my cross necklace

Aislyn wanted Renn to play with her downstairs and showed her how to write on carpet :)

The Boysis family left around 5:30 to get little miss home in time for her bedtime routine. We totally forgot the cabbage rolls for the dinner portion but they worked great for supper.

We played Russian rummy. Shaina headed back to the city around 8 with mom taking her spot. It ended when B & D headed home. The rest of us played Uno 99 cards including the kids till late. After cleaning and loading up our goodies we headed home after 11 with Mom and Travis headed to Oyen just after us. THANKS ALL XOXO Happy Easter.
