Projects going and working and some hockey too

Another day in paradise. Coffee and brain games before the prince woke. I hauled the nesting tables out for a few last shots then loaded in the car. We were off to town after 9 to watch Asher’s hockey game. A quick drive thru Tims for a tea and roast beef craveable for S's breakfast. The game started slow for Strathmore but they did make a come back. Not enough to win but made for a good game. Perfect timing between the last 2 periods as ice was flooded to meet Kristie and Ron in the parking lot for a visit and table transfer. 

After the game ended we grabbed A&W for lunch and back to the ranch to eat. It was sunny 10 upon waking but now -2. I ran out and took off Bird’s blanket. S finally put together his “anti frost/mice” vent cover.

B and her pets arrived after 2. She was off to her room for a nap. Hockey is on all day so S hit the couch to watch. I changed clothes then got back to work on the round table stripping the legs and base and top edges.

Amanda's stool was stained after more sanding.

Then the custom table was taken apart. Remains finish was scraped. Sanding was done as well as repairing edges glued and clamped. Britt was up and fed her horse then brought Gully in the garage. 

Dave arrived bringing us Vietnamese for supper. THANK YOU!! It was awesome to come in and just eat. B packed up her cat and dog and headed off. Dave and Sheldon had a few round of crib with beers and hockey. I caught up the blog. Dave headed off after 10 after their multi crib battle. A bit of hockey watching and reading in bed to end the day.
