The pups & cats were fed. Coffee was had and blog posted. Kaylin sent a few videos. 2 are of a very tired little girl last night and a very busy girl this am finding her hands.
I staged the black sideboard up.
It was then time to haul in the tables and stage them up. This required S to help me move the heavy coffee table he made. Tidy and vacuuming was in order then things put back in place. The tables were moved to spare room to await their pick up. S spent the morning on the phone with various folks. The irrigation dude, power people and his Mom. Dave text offering to cook a ham supper tonight, heck yes!
The fog rolled in thicker as we were having lunch. Nathan arrived with Renn. She had a doctor appointment with Dr Muller. Kaylin did too but being a doctors office, her 11:30 appointment still was not called at 12:15 when she had to leave for a lashes appointment. Sheldon and Nathan played multiple crib games while Renn and I played. Miss Renn is sitting on her own now. The girls playpen was set up for her nap. Nathan ran to pickup Kaylin whose appointment went late. They were back at 3:30. Miss Renn slept till 3:45. We had a quick visit, she ate, a few snuggles and they were off for home just after 4.
S and I donned the winter wear and headed out to walk the dogs in the foggy frosty -4. We met Dave coming thru the gate. His poor rear window that was smashed out last week from a rouge flying ratchet strap and card boarded up lost is cardboard yet again. This made for a drafty drive. He did however get all 27 horses moved down today. He and S put in new cardboard and got it patched up.
He threw his ham in and prepped potato’s and carrots to go along with it. The big event Bruins vs Flames started at 5. A gal who bought 6 antique chairs arrived. I helped her load them up and on her way. When I got back the fellows had started their crib tournament. Dave is able to multi task cooking, playing crib and watching hockey. B arrived just in time for supper. He made ham with a honey mustard glaze, mashed potatoes, brown sugar buttered carrots and corn. WOW!! And even as a non ham fan I thought it was amazing. I even tried a bit of honey glazed ham. THANKS Dave!! Unbelievable I did not get a photo of his chef skills or the meal. And to make it even better the Flames won 4-1 against the Bruins. There was allot of smack talk flying around by one certain fan. Then it was the Oilers vs Knights. Again S got his wish LOL
B spent her day at Old's College promoting Moore's as an Olds alumni too.
After supper we started a game of Russian rummy. These 12 hands continued till almost 11:30 when they set off with Cooper. S caught up on the sports news while I read for awhile.
