Moving day 2

It was overcast starting the day and throughout most of it but at least hovering around 0. Today we move B to the new “farm” and confirmed Dave would be here at 1:30 so that is the plan. I showered after coffee and marketing. I took a few more photos of the table full length staged and added to the table tutorial and got it shared to proper places.

I scrambled up eggs and cheese to go with toast and beans for our lunch. We loaded up H and headed to town before 1 swinging by a place to pick up a kids table and 1 chair. Unfortunately it is an MDF one but will see what I can do. We back in at Britt’s ready to get loaded up. For the next hour we moved and packed the cargo trailer. Dave arrived after 2:30 in time to load the king size mattress and last of the heavier pieces. I was in charge of the stacking of the trailer and I’m happy to say I got everything in.

thought we had it all (Left) but managed to squeeze in her a/c machine (Right)

The trailer door was closed at 3 and we headed west with Dave’s rental car and B’s car loaded. We also had Cooper and Gulliver with us. Gulliver was not a fan of the ride and complained almost the entire way.

When we arrived at their trailer Dave had arrived with B right behind us. The road had a snowbank to bounce over then a thick skating rink under the fluffy snow that made parking in a convenient spot not happen. We reversed the order with me unpacking and handing out the fellows who took into the house when B moved to the right room. We unloaded the trailer and their cars and the back of our truck in an hour.

The fellows then ran to the city to pick up Chinese while B started the unboxing decor aspect. I helped set up cupboards and the office with the fellows back with food at 6:30. We ate, THANKS guys, it was tasty then got back to the unboxing.

Many of her plants enjoying the new location and below the first official meal in the new place

Dave went to put horses back in their stalls with S taking empty boxes back to the trailer and visiting with the fellows (the owner Kat was there too) in the barn. Harley was sad I forgot her supper putting her on her first 24 hour fast. We had most things in the main area and kitchen in place so headed for home before 9:30 arriving back at the ranch an hour later. It is almost an hour exactly door to door.

It was time to just crawl into bed for me. S rousted the gumption to go have a hot tub as I read then after his shower and internet peruse he was off to sleep with me shutting lights off around midnight.
