saddle dome is no longer

Coco has been off for a few months but yesterday she seemed a bit more so. This morning I called to get her in and they could fir her in only if I headed in right away. I left Kaylin getting ready to leave for her morning shift, woke Sheldon who wanted to come along and we were in at the clinic just before 9. Dr Jody took x-rays and it turns out sadly my worst suspicion was confirmed, she has cancer in the liver and lungs. The prognosis is not favorable but it does give us all time to spend quality time with her and some medicine to keep her more comfortable.

We stopped at Tim's for a tea, the Tim's that still offers Coco's very favorite treat when she smells the coffee in the line up -- a plain tim bit. She even was given two ;) We stopped at Paetz's and caught 2 episodes of Game Of Thrones while Coco napped on their new A/C floor. They had cleaned their freezer prior to leaving for the week and had requested us to drop at the dump so S loaded it up in the boat trunk and off we went. Good thing it was in a planter as there was some unsavory sauce in the bottom ;(

just waiting for the lady to hand over the Tim bits ;)

Lexi was excited to see Coco back for a short visit while Sheldon and I ate our A&W burgers we grabbed on way out of town. She then came out with me to start the painting process on the dresser. I went from the planned sea green to classic light cream however after the first coat I am not sure about its coverage.

Sheldon started putting the blocks back up on the saddle dome edge. I went out to help him fill with dirt once done and trim the nearby crab apple tree. It was a scorcher at 28 so inside he went for a nap while I caught up on the blog in our A/C.

We headed back outside, him starting work on the other side of the island and me trimming and picking dreaded dandelions.

He even got the other side complete by our usual late supper time. Britt had a quiet night as we ran to town after supper to get a DQ blizzard for their miracle treat fundraiser. The line up took over half an hour wait but it was worth it. We ate our favorite banana split blizzards at Paetz's finishing up 2 more episodes of Game of Thrones, all caught up for now.
