saddle dome gets a repair

B was back to work and off early. I was up at 8:30 to roust Shaina for her 9 am shift. Coffee went on and breakfast and soon she was up and out the door with both. Mom, Sheldon and I enjoyed out coffee and a visit before she was loaded up and off at 10:30 as well as Sheldon who was off to town with the scaffolding and trash on errands. Lexi thought it fun to roll in fresh poop so bath was next order of business.

Kaylin took this funny picture of Hawk yesterday ;)

I did some work on the dresser, hauled in the chair we were to drop off at Lausens but got cancelled then got showered up for the day. Kaylin had breakfast and her lunch packed and was off by 12:30 to the city for her back to work day too. Sheldon pulled in just as she was heading out bringing home a load of gravel.

I worked on pulling spent plants, deadheading and watering in the lovely 25 degree sunshine while Sheldon pushed the recently acquired top soil into two piles after a local company stopped to confirm they could dump some clay in the pit. I washed and started dill drying before heading back out to put the horses in the new paddock for an hour to mow and dusted up Daisy with her anti itch powder. I was putting them back in the big paddocks as Britt pulled in after 6:30 from work.

Sheldon started to pull the one side of the island apart to rebuild. While he was doing this I made a chocolate cake from scratch to go with the veggie pack I chopped and threw in the oven too. The builder stopped progress to come cooked the steak for our late supper.

Max stopped by to hang with Britt bringing them teas and a jumbo box of Tim bits ;) He headed home just after 11 and only minutes before Kaylin arrived home from her day at work.
