Another storm blew in, this time at 4 am unloading 1/2 and inch of very welcome rain. Happy Canada day it is! Chuck and Deb ran to town before coffee time filled the morning.
Deb, Steph, Rob and Britt went in early to shop then meeting us at the field. Sheldon and Chuck ran to Matts for a saw then installed an overflow on the shop water tank. I went to the storage trailer to get pots, pans and dishes for the girls but ended up finding a whole bigger issue. Two whole boxes filled with collector barbies, porcelain dolls and jewelry boxes had gotten wet and mold was growing everywhere!!!!!!!!! I hauled into the garage and tried to wash us what I could and was sick about the rest. This made for a very sad day but did not tell Kaylin as her luck has not been going so well.
The day was not as warm as predicted and was fairly blustery but after busking the wind to get in it turned into a great night for a mini jackpot, the weather turned fabulous. The girls and I had a fun polocrosse night and think the spectators enjoyed watching too. (rest of photos thanks to Debby!!)
Loaded up and headed back home, we unloaded fed horses and started up another fire. Tonight's late supper was smokies over the fire with chips and salsa. The fun night was rounded out with some great fireworks we were able to see from town. Happy Canada Day to all.
