Kaylin and Lexi came out after a round about way of getting to the right place and The Schmitt family arrived to see part of the afternoon game where my team and the girls A team played opposite. It was then time to have social hour in the sun. This was quickly changed into a storm coming so Kaylin loading up and heading home thru hail. We moved all inside the back of the horse trailer to wait out the rain and then headed to the barn to join the rest for supper.
nap time for some including the scared dog
Shaina went with Schmitt's back to the hotel for the night while Britt & Coco camped in the back of the truck and Sheldon and I in the trailer preparing for the week ahead. Big Thanks to Shelby for feeding the dogs supper and breakfast.
Play resumed with Britt umping the 9 am game and me playing at 10. Schmitt's and Shaina arrived to catch some but it was not long and they were off as the cool 15 degrees was chilly. Trust me I know in a light jersey it was a far cray from the comfy 24 of Saturday. They would drop Chuck at the airport and start their drive home stopping in Waterton for a day. The girls played A game at noon followed by clean up and awards. Both me and the girls placed 2nd in our divisions losing to tough teams, yeah us!
The drive home found 3/4 sleeping after grabbing our traditional sushi and wings for the ride home. Once home and unloaded it was time for a quick nap for all, Poor Shaina picked up a shift at 5 so was off but only worked till 8:30. It was the laziest night ever at the Kuhn home and I battled a headache and upset tummy for most of the day, darn it. It was a fun filled action packed w/e. Thanks for coming family to support us all.
