Day 811, we were alerted by Diego the workers replacing the shed siding and soffit/facia arrived around 8:15. Time for coffee and getting on with the day. The Aussie boys were up as Shaina was getting ready to head off to work at 9, they then started to sort stuff in the rental car and pack up. Sheldon was ready to head to High River for another day of disaster assistance leaving at 9:30.
About 10:45 the boys said final farewell and off they went. We enjoyed their visit, they were a huge help with the bales and the truck troubles and enjoyed many laughs, safe travels home Sam and Adam! Britt was going to come to town with me and noticed they forgot a shaving kit so I went to work and she drove it to them at Lammles. Sheldon text he was back home with alternator issues again!!
Ada's first barrette
Amanda, Asher and Ada stopped at work a quick visit and to pickup eggs just before lunch. Britt returned and her and I went tot he golf course to have lunch where Shaina joined us. When we were finished we stopped at the splash park to see Asher have fun in the sun. Sheldon stopped too as he was in town returning the old alternator and battery. A quick stop at the car wash (which when dried looked like crap) then groceries before heading home around 2:30, Sheldon pulled in right behind us.
The day was so gorgeous, about 22 degrees not a breath of wind and no clouds. After unloading groceries, I started watering the garden and flower beds not shutting the water off till 7:30. Britt went for a ride so I set our food for Bird and Scooter as well as moving the panels to clean off more grass behind the shop for bale storage. It was so nice I had to stay out so did dog do patrol and horse in the side pen as well as horse trailer. Shaina worked until 4 then cleaned her room before she returned to town to golf around 5:30.
Sheldon recharged Britt's A/C and few other errands before he ate and showered up to head out with the boys from his old work to celebrate another one leaving. It just so happens to be our good friend Darren. I worked on the blog and sorting thru the 130 pictures I took at test match and watched a PVR.
Sheldon as back home around 9:30 and being such a nice evening he and I and the pets went for a walk. Once back at the house, Britt joined us to watch
Amazing Race Canada! Shaina came home at 10, hosed the cuts on her 2 horses (Daisy got a wee cut on hind leg) before packing up and heading back to town at 11 to go out and stay overnight at a friends since she works at 8 am.
