Huatulco part 3

S took these sunrise series of photos

Thursday was dedicated to remembering Dad. How has it been a year already since he left us? I attempted to honor him by drinking black coffee, but ended up adding creamer. We enjoyed several cups on the deck before heading down to the pool, where S secured some nice shady spots earlier. S and I had a late brunch, took dips in the pool, participated in the foam party, sailed a Hobie cat on the ocean, and then returned to join the Stouts for a game of cards.

In Calgary it is family breakfast time

This is Sheldon taking my photo but the camera was reversed ;)

Renny working hard on a Christmas craft and some fun playtime at school

We concluded the day with a rum in Dad's honor at the premium bar, and then each of us to our rooms. S and I began watching "The Ride," another tribute to Dad, viewing two episodes turning in for night.

Friday was our last in the consistent 31-degree weather but today was the only partially cloudy day. We had packed most of our belongings, took a walk on the beach, ate breakfast and then went to the poolside where S had secured seats earlier while running down for "creamer." My stomach troubles continue to plague me so I tried a dose ciprofloxacin that Sharon had. After lunch, we took a shower and headed down to check out. The transfer arrived before 2 PM to take us to the airport. It a quick 17-minute ride, getting us there very early and through to the gate quickly. This is a much quieter airport with only seven planes on the board to leave. It was a long wait until we boarded before 4:30 PM, but we took off 5 PM.

Back in Calgary little miss is not feeling good at all, darn school germs

It was a nearly a 6-hour flight home. S watched 4 movies, while I watched one that a complete waste of time, followed by a couple of Queer Eye episodes I had downloaded. We landed just after 9:30, it was a quick trip through customs then a wait for our luggage. Our Uber to the car was fast, and then we headed east. We dropped off the now sick Stouts and arrived at the at ranch at 11 :30 to a happy Harley who was glad to see us. I found a new package of Tylenol Cold that had expired in 2020, but it knocked me out, allowing me to have a good sleep.
