Cleaning day

I woke up at 7:30, beating girls upstairs again They came down just before 8. K made me a coffee, thank you, as we were entertained by Miss Renn. I took Beans out twice for his bathroom breaks, once again the Nana in her fluffy blue housecoat.

Kaylin left for work by 9:30, with Nathan deciding to take Renn on a road trip to visit his great aunt and collect a monetary gift his grandpa had left him. They departed before 10:30. I took a shower then began cleaning bathrooms, doing laundry, and vacuuming. Back at the ranch, S loaded the custom-painted coffee table for a lady. While walking Harley after the pick-up he fell, and hit his head, requiring him to go inside for a sit-down. He has hockey and a men's coffee match later this afternoon, which he was fine to attend.

Renn and Nathan returned at noon and had lunch. Nathan then proceeded to his office to address more emails related to the EI issues. I read to Renn and put her to bed after 1. She went down without any fuss and quickly fell asleep. I continued tidying up and doing more laundry. One tends to forget the of laundry and tidying required with babies.

Renn woke up after an hour and ten minutes, sweetly calling for Nana. We came downstairs and were changing her diaper when Kaylin arrived home early at 2:30 with a headache. She relaxed on the couch with her little buddy. Nathan joined the family gathering. I continued my cleaning spree working on the laundry closet. Beans was taken out several times for a tug - I mean walk. :)

I prepared a pad Thai Fresh Prep meal for supper, which turned out to be quite delicious. Renn enjoyed the noodles but did not care for the shrimp. Kaylin washed all the pots and pans. Renn and I took Beans for a walk, but it is always a challenge to manage him and carry a baby at the same time After one lap around the block, I brought Beans home, and Renn I went to the rink down the street. There was a large ball tree, a fire pit, numerous lights, and a massive "camel - AKA moose.

Back at the house, Kaylin was on an island cleaning spree. I took out the recyclables while Nathan started a bath for Renn. I continued blog writing while watching 1923. Once Renn was tucked into bed after coming down to say good night, Kaylin came down to join me. Later Nathan came down to make another batch of cookies, this time his signature Skor cookies. I finished watching1923 and was surprised by the cliffhanger, but Debby mentioned that another comes out in February. I must say, I liked 1883 much better.

We watched a Dr Suess cake-making show before K & N went to bed at 10 . I put away the cooled cookies eating even - such restraint today. After getting ready for bed, I started watching "Is It Cake?" in bed.
