Dog walking day

I've been forgoing my usual coffee in bed since we ran out of creamer, so I moved on to marketing after taking the dogs out then feeding them. S indulged in his regular routine of coffee and games in bed. My primary focus was on dispatching an Etsy package to Georgia. S paused his reading in the big brown chair and crafted a shipping box for the sign. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with customer service to set up a FedEx account, only for the customer to decide against this option.

I applied a clear wax to the coffee table top and then enlisted S's help to bring it inside for staging. Under the new lighting, I noticed areas that needed touch-ups, which inevitably means more work. This morning's marketing task involved publishing and sharing the custom navy chair tutorial. I completed packaging the wooden sign, which is now ready for dispatch.

After a leftover lunch, S headed off to hockey. I finished up and published the December 1st blog. Subsequently, I created a Hometalk post for the tallboy dresser. Further touch-ups were made on the coffee table. It's remarkable how one small adjustment can lead to many additional tasks.

The chinook has returned, bringing a bright, sunny day with temperatures rising to plus 4, so I took the dogs out for a walk. Afterwards, I continued painting the grooves on of the coffee table. S arrived home at 5, stocked up on cat food, following another enjoyable hockey game and coffee with friends. We savored the leftover filet mignon and stuffed potatoes, accompanied by a very tasty salad I prepared for us.

The temperature was just above freezing, so we ventured out for a hot tub beneath the starry sky. S was entertained by hockey in the evening, while I cozied up in bed with Beans to watch an episode of 1883 and later updated the blog. Afterwards, S joined me to watch episodes of Yellowstone.
