Appointments

Poor little nugget baby was still congested and sniffly. I met the girls on the couch at 7 for Kaylin to sneak off for her last sleep morning. I tried giving Renn yogurt with strawberries, blueberries, and oranges, but it wasn't a hit today. Back to playing with Nathan, who popped down to have his coffee and breakfast. Kaylin joined around 8:30 get her lunch goodies and coffee made, visited for a bit then off to work at 9:30. Nathan went off for a shower and rest.

I stripped the sheets and started the laundry Unfortunately, I am feeling bit flu-ish today I hope to nip this in the bud by tomorrow After some more play, Renn and I walked to Staples to pick a couple of parcels for Shaina. Once back, Renn and Nathan had lunch along with a dose of Tylenol due to a slight fever. I remade the spare bed, ready for the next guest. Nathan then went off to do some computer tasks/rest. I put Renn to bed at 12:30 with ease, then went down to scrub the dishes and kitchen, had some leftover pasta, and caught up with today's blog.

It was a short nap, with her waking up 45 minutes later. Nathan suggested we wait see if she would fall back asleep within ten minutes, but she was not having it. I rocked her in her chair a while, then moved to the couch 1:30. She snuggled quietly, watching her shows. S arrived at 1:59, claiming a minute to spare with the 2 pm arrival request. Nathan came down to visit. I finished four glasses of water and off to my ultrasound and mammogram appointments. These concluded at 3:30, which I then went to my appointment with Kaylin. Crazy the results were text from my appointments within the hour.

 

She is gifting me with eyebrow lamination and body sugaring, as well as a bonus facial sugaring. Finishing up after 5, I did a bit of shopping at her store front, then set off for their house while she picked up pizza and wings. The fellows back at the house were happy to see the pizza, as was Renn. It was a pizza party.

After I cleaned up the dishes and the kitchen, I joined the others watching Nacho Libre. After 7, we said our goodbyes, wishing Nathan all the best in next week's surgery, hugged everyone, and left. It began to snow with fog rolling in as we went along. Back home after 8, Sheldon watched his Flames game on TV while I crawled into bed to catch up on the blog and start Polo. S went for a hot tub in the foggy night.
