This middle of the night bathroom break is going to be changed. 2:15 new time (3:15 old and obviously just changed) H wanted out but again was not a fan of the cold. The wind and snow had finally stopped but soon started up again as I tried to fall back asleep. S was awake at 7:30 new time making coffee and cleaning out the dishwasher, wow! He delivered a hot cup to me in bed then after having his first one filled a go cup, dressed and went out to start the skid steer. We had to basically push H out with her coat to go with him but she was back in short order. Once her feet dried, I fed her and she was happy to curl back up in her kennel.
After the skid steer warmed and a bowl of cereal in his belly, S took off to Matt's to let out Oscar as they were storm staying in Sylvan. He also plowed their driveway and ours and the yard on his way back. The cold snap has started as -14 out. I got busy marketing and replying to all the fretwork votes which were still coming in. Very few voted to leave it out. S was back inside around 9:30 and into big brown to check out the current auction bid prices.
I continued marketing and blog work and trying to find the reason my tutorial email subscription quite working. The truck was started to warm up and at 11:30 S and I jumped in and were off to town swinging by the mail first. Mom was just heading home but did not plan to stop at Dad's today having me arranged to help him with a meal. The roads were like a sheet of ice all the way in and in town but luckily everyone was driving cautiously. We got to Dad's before noon and he was at his table waiting. He had an ensure before they brought soup I helped him with. His main meal came early around 12:30. He ate it all up and his apple sauce dessert too. Seeing he was getting tired I wheeled him back to his room and got him tucked into bed with his warm blankets and soon he was off to sleep. We headed out after 1 grabbing Opa on the way home. S looked for spa stuff quick at Can Tire then to the ranch we went.
S was back to his online auction site while I browned the bison short ribs and got them in the oven to cook. It was then on to sorting H's meat in the freezers taking stock. I put a slow cooker pot of bones on to make her some broth and gave her a bone to chew on in the garage for a bit.
B was out around 2:30 to feed and visit her horses, Cooper was sporting a new winter coat too. I was organizing the freezers an gave her a couple packs to get cooking. I then pulled out a jewelry box I totally missed seeing the entire base was missing and broken when I bought it, duh! I filled in all the missing wood areas and glued the loose side. Back to trying to sort the email issue with still no luck. B and Cooper headed home to relax for the rest of the day.
