Day 4 - property tours - lots of photos

Today was a big day to tour real estate. I awoke early yet again after 7 and quietly played a few games then made coffee and prepped for our day out. S eventually rose after 8 for his coffee then we headed down for breakfast. The waves were crashing the biggest we have seen so we went down to snap some pics.

At the hotel front area we waited for Dean to arrive. He used to be a coworker of Sheldon’s in Hanna who sells real estate and lives here in Cabo for the last 6+ years. He had a line up of 4 places for us to see.

The first was being sold via a former Edmonton gal who has lived her for 30+ years. It was a lovely 3 BR with great views but a metal/tile spiral staircase that would take out many a shin but I loved the furniture and views. This one was Cabo del Mar #406 for $425,000.00 furnished.

Next was an Uber modern Mirador penthouse #C-402 with 4 bedrooms and a great view, loft deck, roof deck with hot tub and nice common pool area but again not quite our style for $495K USD unfurnished.

The next one #C202 was at the top end at $499K furnished and my favorite but again only 2 bedrooms. The Alegranza sales gal also showed us a 3 bedroom but not as nice and $100 K more same square footage.

The last was a new build on a golf course Peninsula Villa III #101 which was hard to imagine as it was a bunch of cement but a finished one we viewed was nice. But not a golf view over ocean view IMHO. It was priced better at $270K but would be unfurnished too.

It was then off to Cabo to Dean’s home to meet his wife Samantha and 2 dogs Heffe and Sol: both were rescued in Mexico. Their home was a lovely 1 level home with a cute little pool and backyard. Their ocean view was blocked with a large 4 floor condo building built in front of them ;(

After a couple refreshments we were off to eat in Cabo at the Cabo Cantina. I had fish tacos and S pulled pork wrap. Back at their home we had a short bathroom break and said good bye to Samantha and the dogs then Dean drove us back to our hotel arriving back at 4.

Their family photos were epic. (Samantha has a son - top center who lives in PEI in the military)

Time for a bit of sun and swim, still full from a big lunch we skipped our supper reservation. We took a walk around the property and caught a nice sunset.

S went back to the room to watch tv while I hung out in a hammock on the beach then went and ate at the buffet later alone.

See the sky bar lit up in the background?
