the biggest downfall is the quality of the Wi-Fi. Yes you can get it in many places but it is always sporadic and sketchy as to if it will even last more then a minute. Very frustrating for me trying to keep my marketing posts.
there is an echelon system of band colors; black is top end elite and they have it all, being lowly blue band limits your liquor quality, pool chairs only, entrance to many places and perhaps less service
Tortuga - seafood restaurant - was always a long wait unless you were black band
Their blended drinks had an aspartame taste after the first few sips ;(
Some days your mini fridge may have treats, some days not.
The entertainment is so-so, nothing to get really excited about except white party (see below)
If you like chai latte's you may be disappointed as they are only allotted one can a day and it usually is gone in short order at the cupcake café.
PROS
Your all inclusive band has your room key on it!!! That is hands down the best invention yet.
Rooms are spacious with comfy large beds and nice bedding
Ocean view room 1226 has great whale watching view with a large deck and you will see lots in Jan/Feb
Room service works well, food is good in general but it does vary daily even with the same item (steaks for example) The steaks need to be ordered medium well to get a medium rare but one time they were awesome. Italian was ok. The buffet always had something good to eat.
Lots of aloe on the grounds to help heal any cuts you may incur
White party on Wednesdays has great entertainment, other shows are ok
Location is excellent, easy quick walk to downtown, has amazing views of the ocean and the marina side too. You can easily walk to divorce beach but wont see the arch.
NOTES
Be sure you have hotel transfer to and from airport before you leave
DON'T use drawers in hotel room but if you do CHECK ALL before you leave :)
