Switch was to head to trainer Anna's today for her spring refresher fat to fit camp. Seeing it was still -1 I suggested we get the trailer off the grass while still a bit firm. By 11 it was not firm but better then later in the day when it hit 6. We picked miss Switch up at the winter pasture gate and had her to Anna's by 11:30.
We detoured thru town on the way home to grab a few groceries for taco supper and grab a hot chai and donut dessert. This was enjoyed once back home after left over lunch.
These 2 decided they would roost on the truck and trailer out front
S got the pump going again now that it was melting while I started on the dining table. I sanded the whole table well, hand scraped any last areas and gave it a coat of chocolate.
Life requires some relaxing time and once I was done called S up from his hockey world to join me on the deck for a cold beverage. Lola was pleased we were back to spending time outside too. Even though it was 6 the bright sunshine was fabulous and just a hoody felt perfect.
We cooked up our taco supper then S was off to the TV room and I was back at the dining table adding a coat of dark grey and wet distressing the white table base. Between games we watched Acts of Vengeance, it was good then to watch the Knights win.
