Custom Projects Complete

Another crazy weather day, the warm winds blew all night with a low of 5 so needless to say much of the snow was melted by waking and continued through the day.

I spent the day finishing my custom projects. The sweet doll house's trim was painted white 3 coats. This ended up needing a artist brush as it was small scale for sure. Touch ups were done on the pink and just when all was done I found I disliked the screw filled areas and the roof fit so spent almost an hour taking one brace off, rasping and sanding areas down and repainting! Dam OCD

The table was clear waxed and while drying the armoire was dark waxed and the new hardware added. shown dark wax above and on left, others clear wax

The day hit 12 but after lunch the sky darkened up and it rained around 3. Rain.. yep, not good for possible cooling temps. The Christmas lights kicked in too,what?? Seems my landscaper has odd settings on the timer ;)

Donna Mae stopped on her way home to see and <3 them, yeah! Now to dry buff and pick up. By the time she stopped the lake above was mostly gone even with the rain, crazy. I ate a quick bite, painted the roof again and the salt and pepper's again then called it a day to soak in the tub with Grey's as all the current custom's are basically done!
