2 1/4" rain day

7:30 am, only 4 1/2 hours after putting Lola to bed and getting some sleep a HUGE crack of thunder shook the house! I went to roust Shaina who was to be up at 6 am hahaha and by the time I got back upstairs the downpour began, that and Coco hustled downstairs to pee on Shaina's carpet!!! GRRRRR dogs are the aging factor in my life for sure.

Shaina flew out the door minutes later but no back to sleep for me, time for coffee and some yummy creamer. Today's projects during the deluge all day long were.. 2nd coat on both blue projects with first coat of black going on the dining set...

 

 ... the towel rack got painted up and sealed

 ... the serving tray was painted grey

and the rest was spent cleaning and organizing, oh how I love organized spaces!!

and this is only most of qt sizes, there are 20 gallons elsewhere and more qts ;)

The gal from last week finally decided and sent EMT for the following pieces.

checked rain gauge at 6 and there was already 2" overnight and today! I need to kick the furnace on as it is only 6 degrees! The dogs spent most of the day in the garage while the horses moved from shelter to pasture. Britt brought herself supper home after work finished at 7 and soon after was off to hang out with Grady.

maybe not the best choice of refreshment.. hot tea and bath followed
