The sun came out in full force today but was back to -12. It is sleep in Thursday but it was not as long as usual as Grady kindly bust thru the drift to come get Britt for school and luckily he is taking brother to hockey tonight so can bring her home after her work shift after school.
As he sipped a hot tea he declared the marquis would not make it in or out. Thankfully Darren to the rescue. He offered to come plow the gate out, THANKS. I am very grateful for such good friends. Guess along with learning to shoot I need to hone my plow skills.
I put Shaina's chair together now all dry. It is so adorable, I just love these sweet antique chairs. I also put a second coat of paint on the wee frame allowing to dry then start the varnish coats.
Noticing a couple horses trimming the edges of the shelter I decided to gear up and refill the salt/mineral tub. While I was out I saw feet were ice packed so back to grab the pick and everyone got the nasty ice packs chipped out of their feet. It was so nice out of the wind, beauty day!
I decided the puppies needed a walk and again once along the tree line it was so lovely, the snow was deep in many places and wearing Sheldon's 40 lb boots gave me quite a work out. I guess this is how Lola feels in her warm winter coat, toasty cozy.
Back inside, time for a quick bite to eat before more marketing. I feel a sore throat coming on so dousing my self in immune roll on & diffusing thieves in one room and tea tree in the other and consuming Cold FX. I finished the last frame putting all together and just need to hang. It seems I took the hammer back to workshop when cleaning up!
Grady dropped Britt off from work after 9 as I was finishing up my PVR & Netflix shows.
